Terms and Conditions

Please accept these Terms and Conditions prior to registering for a class.

HYBRID CLASSES: will hope to meet as often outside and in-person as the weather permits! Our intention is for the first 6 weeks to be in -person outside and the last 4 weeks virtual via Zoom. If, during the first 6 weeks, there is an inclement weather day, we'll hold class virtually via Zoom on that day. If, during the last 4 weeks, there are some nice days, we'll move class to in-person outside. ONE HOUR BEFORE each scheduled HYBRID CLASS, the teather will update/confirm the location (at the park or via Zoom). IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE METHOD OF COMMUNICATION YOUR TEACHER INDICATED THEY WILL USE TO SHARE THIS INFORMATION.
 

COVID-19 ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS AND WAIVEROF LIABLITY

As consideration for Mystic Valley Music Together permitting me to take Music Together, Canta y Baila Conimgo or Rhythm Kids classes, I agree to the following:
ASSUMPTION OF THE RISKS: I understand that naturally occurring disease processes (including, but not limited to, the novel coronavirus or COVID-19), may exist in the community, including at Mystic Valley Music Together class locations, and present an inherent risk that cannot be eliminated. Iacknowledge that, although Mystic Valley Music Together is taking all reasonable measures to avoid contact, transmittal, and exposure of disease processes like COVID-19 between people in our classes (including frequently sanitizing areas and equipment), it is ultimately my responsibility to ensure that I and my child take appropriate actions to safe-guard ourselves. I understand and agree that as a participant of Mystic Valley Music Together, I am accepting and voluntarily assuming the risk that I or my child may be exposed and become ill as a result of COVID-19 and other diseases.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: I, on behalf of myself and my child(ren) hereby voluntarily release, forever discharge, and covenant not to sue Mystic Valley Music Together , and its owners, managers, members, employees, agents, and volunteers (“Released Parties”) for any claims that may arise out of or relate in any way to my or my child’s exposure to any communicable disease, including but not limited to the novel coronavirus or COVID-19. The claims hereby released include, but are not limited to, claims of negligence against any of the Released Parties.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. BY PARTICIPATING IN CLASSES WITH MYSTIC VALLERY MUSIC TOGETHER, I UNDERSTAND I HAVE GIVEN UP CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS AND THAT THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL DOCUMENT.


CLASS ZOOM CODES:  ...are for use by registered families only. We will be counting on our attendance lists to help us expect and greet the children registered for our classes. If you would like family or friends from outside of our area to join the fun, please have them register! This is a great place for cousins in other states, college friends' kids in other towns, and others to enjoy some time together.

PAYMENT METHODS:   You may pay by check or by credit card online. Once we receive your payment, you will be mailed your songbook, CD and the Zoom code for the class you signed up for. Please make checks or money order payable to Mystic Valley Music Together and mail to:  Mystic Valley Music Together, 9 Oak Knoll Road, Lincoln, MA 01773.

REFUND POLICY:   No refunds will be given after the first class. There is a $50 (per family) non-refundable administrative fee included in the tuition.  If you decide not to continue with the class and have received a songbook and CDs they must be returned but must be unopened (plastic still on) or you may pay an additional materials fee.

MAKE UPS:  Make-ups may only be done via Zoom. Because of COVID protocols, we need to keep in-person class numbers low and without variation. If you miss your scheduled hybrid or online class, please sign up for a make-up class (look for "Make-up Scheduler" on the menu bar above) and we'll send you a code for one of the other classes.

WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:  For folks taking online classes, this will only applly if there are technical difficulties... we'll keep our fingers crossed for no bugs. For folks taking hybrid classes, I'll repeat from above... if, during the first 6 weeks, there is an inclement weather day, we'll hold class virtually via Zoom on that day.
